The fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie:  ‘pirates of the caribbean 4 On Stranger Tides‘ is very similar to the fourth Indiana Jones release – it’s fun to see the return of characters for a new feature, especially when they remain loyal and are visually script with the same wit and idiosyncratic slogan. The problem is the story: it is as if the filmmakers have more adventures to tell, especially with these heroes. Jack Sparrow must be able to suffice as the main character, but just do not have enough emotional involvement with any of the plethora of supporting roles. He now has a love story, as well as new villains and the return of many familiar faces. But despite the action scenes almost non-stop, he never interacts with the characters around him in a way that leverages investments in its plights, accidents or successes.
